FAQS
What can I expect at the first appointment?
Your initial visit is a comprehensive evaluation where we discuss your current concerns, history, goals, and what you’re hoping to change. Together we’ll outline an initial treatment plan that may include therapy, medication, lifestyle recommendations, or a combination.
Do you provide both medication management and therapy?
Yes. I offer medication management with supportive, evidence-based psychotherapy integrated into each visit. This allows treatment to be cohesive, efficient, and tailored to your needs.
How long are appointments?
Initial evaluations are typically longer to allow ample time for understanding your full history. Follow-up visits are shorter but designed to be unhurried and thorough. Exact durations can be tailored to your needs and scheduling preferences.
Can you coordinate care with my therapist or primary care provider?
Absolutely. With your permission, I’m happy to collaborate with other providers to ensure your care is aligned, coherent, and supportive.
Do you see patients in person or via telehealth?
I currently offer telehealth visits for adults located in California, using a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform.
What conditions do you treat?
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, mood instability, ADHD, and mental health challenges related to medical or neurological complexity. If you’re unsure whether your concerns fit within our scope, feel free to reach out.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes — I am listed as a provider on Headway, which means many insurance plans are accepted. If you use a supported plan (e.g. Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and other networks partnered with Headway), insurance can be used to cover sessions.
What if I need urgent or crisis care?
I do not provide emergency services. If you are in crisis or need immediate support, please call 988, go to your nearest emergency room, or contact your local crisis line.
